Christmas Photo Shoot.
In honor of being a God-fearing, wholesome Christian family, we did the only noble thing for his first Christmas photo and dressed him up like….. SANTA. Oh sorry, hope you weren’t expecting baby Jesus.
The photo shoot went a little something like this…
It started out with silent night…
“sleep in heavenly, heavenly peace”
Is he not adorable!?!?! Cutest kid on the block.
Then he changed Santa’s infamous “ho, ho, ho” to…
“yo, yo, yo!”
Straight up gangsta! He said, “I ain’t pouting, I’ve got my game face on for Santa”
Then he started smiling and coo-ing when I told him the story of Jesus being born on Christmas. Apparently the fact that Jesus was a baby and he is a baby made him giddy!
As you can tell we had a blast! Hands down, best photo shoot yet. There was no fussing involved!

Toccoa… the guard cat.
In the past week and a half, Wyatt has a new guardian, Toccoa… our cat. Wherever Wyatt goes, Toccoa goes also. If Wyatt’s sleeping in his boppy car, Toccoa is right by his side sleeping in her bucket. If Gran goes to change Wyatt’s diaper, Toccoa laying on the carpet in the room. She is always by his side. I can always tell when I get home if it’s a day Wyatt’s been over. The normally awake Toccoa is sacked out from utter exhaustion in her bucket by the kitchen table.
It’s a rough life self-promoting yourself to guard cat.

The Great Outdoors.
Wyatt’s been fascinated with the outdoors since… well, birth. He can be crying and all the medicine he needs is a drawn shade and the great outdoors. There’s nothing like perching him up on the back of the couch and watching his eyes and mind wonder. I’m sure he’s thinking, “I can’t wait to get out and explore”. I can’t wait either, it will be lots of fun when we can go outside and enjoy the weather together.

Got Rogaine?
Wyatt said his first sentence last week, “Momma, I need Rogaine.” Ok you know he didn’t really say that, but our hairy little buddy is starting to lose some of his locks. Teresa has said that she’s found chunks of hair in his bouncy chair or other places. Poor little guy could hairless soon, especially on the sides. He still has a good bit on the back, but it appears to be thinning out as well.
I’ll let you be the judge:

Brown-eyed boy.
Not that anybody thought Wyatt wouldn’t have brown eyes, but his eyes just weren’t showing their true colors yet… so their was speculation. The little stinker’s eyes finally have shown their true colors. They are brown or doo-doo brown as I like to tease my sister.
Oh and check out that tongue. He’s definitely realizing he has a tongue and into showing it off whenever possible.

Wake-up call.
At least a couple times a week for the month of December, this little guy is my wake-up call. Guess it would help if he were awake.
He gets cuter by the minute!

How to make a baby chair.
If you answer yes to the following three questions, then follow the directions below to make a baby chair.
1. You have a baby.
2. You’re without a baby chair.
3. You can’t hold the baby.
Directions
1. Get the laundry basket and empty it.
2. Get a blanket to cover the empty laundry basket.
3. Get two sofa pillows – place one on the bottom of the laundry basket and one of the back of the laundry basket.
4. Get two t-shirts (preferably not the one you are currently wearing) – place one t-shirt on each side of the “back” pillow.
5. Place baby in between the two t-shirts.
6. Get back to work.
